How does Aquarius learn to deal with "community" when they have so little empathy?

I impute to a sign, not a "person".
As a sign, Aquarius is pronounced to be ‘detached", remote, etc.
How do they sense to understanding with a common (which is what they have been pronounced to be approaching to do) when a pointer is well known for such romantic distance?
Or is this unconcern in a little approach utilitarian to Aquarius for this ?

I think for Aquarius, detachment means to distance oneself from emotions. Aquarians enjoy being part of a club, a community , a group of some kind, but when they are involved, its usually mental and not emotional. They arent equipped to deal well with the emotions that arise from a situation they work in, but they connect things better on a mental level. Apparently, maybe for them, if they get bogged down too much about how people feel, they wont be able to do more. And this is necessary in some instance. If we get too attached, we can not properly deal with things on a large scale, it is easier to get emotionally connected to 5 or 10 persons, but when an organisation or a group that deals with a massive number of people, it is exhausting to be " attached ".
Aquarius is equipped to think in an abstract manners, if someone says that their feelings get hurt and they are depressed, an Aquarius might come up with a way to deal with that, it doesnt usually occur to him that the person needs help on an emotional level, and what the person is feeling can often not scientifically measured and defined. Instead, Aquarius might suggest a visit to the nearest pharmacy store, some medication because they think it will help balance the chemicals in the person’s brain. I really think that the advancement of biological engineering is way more aquarian than any other kind of science. While Aquarian’s way to deal with things might be true in certain cases, real human emotions are usually ignored, imagine in the future, when someone is exhibiting an emotional symptom, and is sent to a laboratory to get their genes fixed, how terrible would that be ? – Dont like it ? Too ugly an emotion ? Get your gene fixed.
Aquarius abstract thinking is where ideals and ideas are formed, and in dealing with community, they can contribute their way of thinking and feel mentally connected to the whole / collective. Imagine if everyone is only concerned about whats good for me and mine ( a water-based trait), how dangerous would this world become – something along the line of, well that murderer killed a lot of people, but he loves and cares for me, so why should I report him ? Of course this is an extreme manifestation of water symbiotic inclination. It takes airy quality like Aquarius to deal with society on a larger scale in based on equality. And it isnt that Aquarius does not feel, they feel a lot and are terrified of their own feelings and emotions, because no matter how many scientific methods, or regardless how much reasons they apply to explaining their own emotions, they will usually fail. And if they cant deal with their own emotions, they cant deal with others. In a weird way, it is a very responsible thing to do. Let Pisces take that job, this is why they are next to each other on the zodiac circle.

In my opinion, dealing with the community does in fact require a certain distance and a certain quietening of empathy. I feel that it is quite natural that Aquarius symbolically represents a distance from emotions and yet a desire to help and build on a wider scale.
One reason for this is because, in the end, you’re not going to make everyone happy. Politics, charity, etc… there will be strengths and weaknesses of every group and every idea and to push forward one needs to be slightly emotionally detached. If you feel too much empathy you can easily be dissuaded from your goal by even just one person. It is shocking to me how the power of feeling something so much from one person can completely override even the most far-reaching and revolutionary of goals (this is not an uncommon story, either). Similarly, when we deal with wider groups, we need to be able to make decisions that may not seem ideal at first but are part of a long-term and worthy goal. This will inevitably make people unhappy, because someone will suffer and people generally really don’t like change. If you feel everyone’s anguish, you will not be able to make as informed and unbiased a decision.
Aquarius simply cannot be wholly empathic if it wants to deal with the community in this way. It needs to be able to stand from afar and appreciate the group as an entity itself, to feel a wider empathy for the group as if it were a single person. Parts of that person will be unhappy, but feeling such pain is not Aquarius’ concern. Aquarius’ concern is more to make that whole with all its happiness and unhappiness function to the best of its ability. In that way, Aquarius is sort of utilitarian in my mind – maximum happiness.
Aquarius are also humanitarians, so dealing with ‘community’ comes very naturally. True we are detached, but that does not equate an inability to express empathy. We are not sociopaths.
It is not because Aquarians have no empathy. Aquarius rules the 11th house of friends, groups, associations, and goals. The 11th house is considered to be what one "wishes for" in life. Aquarius wants all humans of this planet to get along with each other. That is the goal. That is why they are often involved with groups that want to improve our planet. Although Aquarians may seem detached and emotionally distant, they are actually always thinking and others might feel them to be ‘detached" when actually all that is going on in their head is another way of doing something. They are future-oriented and their minds are usually going a million miles a second (they are in their own little world) and this may make them appear to be "detached" but the actuality of it is that they are constantly thinking of new ways to solve problems of all kinds. So, yes, you are right on target with your comment that Aquarians detachment is useful in that it allows them to realistically work on the troubles of the world without breaking down with every thought of a neglected and hungry child, the plight of the homeless, or the abuse of the elderly. This big issues are over-riding the sympathetic nature of let’s say, Pisces. Many professions at one time or another (esp in medicine, doctors and nurses) have to put their emotions aside in order to do their job. Firefighters, policemen, social workers, forensic investigators, medical examiners, etc do this every day. If they didn’t, they would be headed for their local mental health facility and step on it.
